Reach for the Stars IX

We are excited to host our 9th Annual Reach for the Stars Gala at the River Prairie Center!

This year, we will be recognizing our members and community employers. We will also be recognizing our sponsors, who make sure to donate their time to review all of the wonderful non-profits in the area and contribute what they can. We honestly couldn't do what we do without the help from you. So thank you for the past, present, and future donations. We simply can't thank you enough!

Reach for the Stars IX will be our final event of 2024 and we are hoping you would like to be part of it. The funds of this event will go towards our programs here at Reach Inc. that teach our members everyday skills, how to obtain employment, and receive a sense of purpose that you and I feel everyday.

The night of the event, all proceeds from our silent auction, raffles and other donations will be placed in a “Funds for Fun”. Did you know that members in our Community Integration Group are out in the community 2-3 times a week? “Funds for Fun” will assist with costs affiliated with those outings. So far this summer we have visited Ray’s Beach, Irvine Park, Erickson Park, Coon Fork Beach, Church Sing Along, Chippewa Falls Pool, Paul Bunyan Camp, Carson Park, Connell’s Orchard, Downtown Eau Claire Sculpture tour, Mt. Simon Disc Golf, Wakanda Waterpark, Elk Mound Castle and Chippewa Valley Museum.

This years entertainment will be local band Kaiged Acoustic! 

Kaiged Acoustic was founded in 2017 by mother-daughter duo Kim Negus and Paige Lieberman. They were wanting to play a variety of classic rock, country, and easy listening hits that they hadn't heard many other bands perform. In growing the band's deep, warm, acoustic sound, they added bass player Kricket (Christy Serum) the following year. Kricket's natural talent of singing amazing harmonies created the full rich blend that this band is known for. The newest member of Kaiged Acoustic is Jeremy Goss. He is the perfect addition to this band, adding a cajon rhythmic beat that pulls the entire sound together. Jeremy has many years of experience with the technical side of running sound for large venues, and Kaiged Acoustic appreciates his skills to help master this unplugged acoustic sound.  Kaiged Acoustic hopes you enjoy the variety of music they play. Some of the lesser known songs are person favorites of the band members, but the majority of the music they perform has been most frequently requested.
