Hand In Hand - Custodian

This janitorial position is an evening shift, and individuals could work up to 40 hours a week. This position will be responsible for performing a variety of manual work, primarily consisting of sanitation related tasks and overall upkeep of the facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform normal and customary cleaning tasks in classrooms, play areas, offices, and more

  • Sanitize high contact surfaces

  • Replace burned out light bulbs

  • Handle trash and recycling on a daily basis

  • Ensure entryways are clear and free of snow, ice, debris

  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment

Job Coach - Stanley/Cadott

The Job Coach works with developmentally disabled personnel to integrate them into the community workforce through job assistance and skill enhancement. This position will assist in the Stanley, WI and Cadott, WI areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise clients at work sites

  • Design and implement work skill and training goals

  • Implement behavior goals

  • Assist client before and after work transition

  • Break jobs/tasks into teachable parts

  • Identify possible learning barriers and determine training methods

  • Observe and record employee job performance and work behaviors for required reports

  • Teach job safety skills

  • Educate business personnel about the communication and needs of the employee

  • Receive feedback from supervisors and co-workers regarding the employee's performance

  • Develop and implement plans for supervisor and co-workers in day to day routines of employee

Job Coach - Eau Claire

The Job Coach works with developmentally disabled personnel to integrate them into the community workforce through job assistance and skill enhancement. This position will assist in the Eau Claire, WI area.

Program Assistant - Chippewa Valley

The assistant evaluates needs, develops and implements programs designed to meet individual client needs. The assistant may work in both Vocational/Workshop setting and Day Service/Community setting. The assistant works closely with other staff to assure program consistency and generalization of learned skills in order for clients to more fully integrate into the community and to encourage maximum independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with all aspects of personal care needs.

  • Supervise Activities and well being of clients/consumers.

  • Designs and implements specific programs in work skill and day service.

  • Provides one-on-one training to individuals as needed. 

  • Implements a behavior program on specific clients as part of a team, using the least restrictive behavioral intervention. 

  • Supervises and assists clients before and after work transition, to and from transportation and during lunch and break time. 

  • Works as part of the Vocational and Day Service team to provide supervision, quality control and basic training according to objectives for the clients.

Maintenance - Chippewa Valley

The Maintenance worker is responsible for the repairs of all REACH buildings as needed in multiple locations. They will establish and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule. The areas of focus include (but not limited to) carpentry, heating and air conditioning, minor dry wall repairs, painting, and maintaining a contact list for plumbing and electrical repairs. The Maintenance worker is in charge keeping up with the grounds. This includes snow removal, salting and sanding, lawn care, and landscaping. They also ensure REACH vehicles are in good operating condition and schedule for maintenance service as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose Mechanical Problems and determine how to correct them.

  • Check Blueprints, repair manuals, or part catalogs as necessary.

  • Inspect, operate, or test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.

  • Order parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or suppliers.

  • Provide grounds keeping services such as landscaping and snow removal.

  • Schedule necessary work outside of normal business hours to avoid conflict with clients.

Front Office Coordinator -
Hand in Hand

Position contributes to the smooth operation of the Hand in Hand Childcare facility by appropriately routing all incoming calls, handling and distributing all mail, receiving visitors and handling customer questions. Must have knowledge and proficiency of Windows and Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, EXCEL, Publisher, PowerPoint and the internet. Basic knowledge of office equipment, to include: copier, printers, laminator and FAX machine a must. Experience with Pro-care is preferred. Position is 40 hours per week, and scheduled 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday thru Friday.
